Study on Filling Capacity of Optical Glass in a Novel Rapid Hot Embossing Process

This paper aims to present a novel rapid hot embossing approach and study filling capacity of optical glass in the process. Firstly, device is developed, which consists heating module precision loading module. Particularly, allows maximum temperature 800 °C rate 300 °C/min, with decent control accuracy uniform distribution. In process, by incompletely microhole silicon carbide mold, microlens would be formed on surface disc, quantified height microlens. The tailor-made was exploited conduct series experiments for evaluating effects process parameters N-BK7 glass. Experimental results indicate that could enhanced increasing force, temperature, soaking time but decreasing annealing rate. Furthermore, compared rate, force have more significant influence Therefore, practical promising technology fabricating microstructures materials high softening points.
